We are now looking for a Layout Engineer who wants to work with future technology alongside a fantastic team! As a Layout Engineer, you will be an important part of our team that drives the design work in customer and development projects. Swisslog is an international company, and in your role, you will have contact with several departments both within and outside Sweden! We offer you, with a great interest in technology and drive, a position that involves both responsibility and creative challenges. You will also be part of a team that enjoys working together! Make a difference

  • Review and update layouts and technical specifications
  • Participate in project meetings and gather information regarding necessary updates
  • Engage in discussions regarding changes and improvements to the system solution
  • Monitor changes and provide feedback to the sales organization when necessary
  • Support the organization with expertise in system design
  • Work cross-functionally with system solutions for customers worldwide.
  • Improve and develop our existing methods.
  • Work in project form, collaborating with a large number of people both internally and externally.

What you bring to succeed

  • You have a post-secondary education in mechanical engineering or equivalent, preferably with a few years of work experience.
  • You have a passion for technology and a desire to work in an expanding company in an international environment.
  • You are experienced in working with 2D drawings in AutoCAD.
  • It is a plus if you have also worked with 3D CAD.
  • You are meticulous and have an eye for detail.
  • You have good collaboration skills and are also motivated to work independently.
  • You speak and write both Swedish and English fluently.
